This document describes a method for LSD detection using liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry. The method features rapid separation, good peak shape, and excellent sensitivity. The use of an internal standard, LAMPA, enables quantitative analysis of LSD. The method is applicable in the pharmaceutical field.
This document presents a rapid isocratic separation method developed for the detection of LSD and the internal standard LAMPA using an Agilent 1100 LC/MSD system. The method utilizes a ZORBAX Eclipse XDB-C8 column and is optimized for API-ES-MS, demonstrating excellent sensitivity with a limit of detection (LOD) of approximately 4.5 pg on column for LSD. The approach is designed to be legally defensible by including two confirming ions for analysis.
