The document evaluates the usefulness and performance of the Varian 1200L LC/MS/MS for the analysis of Cyclosporin A. The system includes automated on-line extraction and is controlled and fully automated through the Varian MS Workstation software. The Multi Reaction Monitoring (MRM) capability is used to demonstrate the sensitivity and robustness of the LC/MS/MS system.
This document evaluates the usefulness and performance of the Agilent 1200L LC/MS/MS system for analyzing Cyclosporin A. The study investigates the system's Multi Reaction Monitoring (MRM) capability, sensitivity, and robustness using automated on-line extraction and reporting via the Varian MS Workstation.
The analysis utilizes a Prostar 410 Autosampler and Prostar 210 Series LC pumps integrated with an API interface and a 1200L MS/MS triple quadrupole instrument. The study demonstrates the system's ability to produce a calibration curve with excellent linearity (r² = 0.999) and determine the Limit of Detection (LOD) and Limit of Quantitation (LOQ) for Cyclosporin A in bovine serum.
