The TMP87C814, TMP87CH14, TMP87CK14 and TMP87CM14 are high‑speed, high‑performance 8‑bit microcontrollers with integrated A/D conversion and a vacuum‑fluorescent‑tube driver. They offer up to 32 KB of ROM, 1 KB of RAM, multiple timers, watchdog, serial interface, and a range of power‑saving modes.
This datasheet details the device features, electrical characteristics, pin functions, memory organization, and timing diagrams. It includes a full pin‑assignment table, block diagram, operational description of the CPU core, and recommended oscillator configurations.
| Operating Voltage | 2.7‑5.5 V (32.768 kHz), 4.5‑5.5 V (8 MHz) |
|---|---|
| Supply Current (NORMAL mode, 8 MHz) | 7‑16 µA |
| Output High Voltage (Voh) | 2.4 V at VDD = 4.5 V |
| A/D Converter | 8‑bit successive approximation |
The instruction execution time is 0.5 µs at 8 MHz.
The device provides 13 interrupt sources: 5 external and 8 internal.
The TMP87 supports STOP, SLOW, IDLE1, IDLE2, and SLEEP modes.
