The Etherline® FD P CAT.5 4 × 2 × 26AWG cable is a Category 5 high‑speed data transmission cable designed for industrial environments, including power chains, moving machines and linear robots. It meets EIA/TIA‑568, TSB‑36 and ISO/IEC 11801 standards for Class D links and features a PUR, halogen‑free sheath resistant to mineral oils and abrasion.
The cable consists of four twisted‑pair conductors (bare copper, 0.14 mm², 26 AWG) with foam‑skin insulation and a halogen‑free PUR outer sheath. Electrical characteristics include a DC loop resistance of 284 Ω/km, insulation resistance ≥5 GΩ·km, and a velocity of propagation of 71 %. Mechanical data specify a minimum flexible bending radius of 95 mm and operating temperature ranges of –5 °C to 50 °C (flexible) and –40 °C to 70 °C (static).
