LAN CAT.5e cables from LAPP KABEL for 'Structured Cabling Systems' meet the requirements acc. to EIA/TIA-568 and TSB36 as well as ISO/IEC 11801 resp. EN 50173 (class d). Used mainly where the terminal density is very high, e.g. cabling of offices, administration and R & D buildings in the tertiary area (horizontal). Please note: According to Standard ISO/IEC 11801 resp. EN 50173 the cable length in the Tertiary Area (Horizontal Area, Floor) should not exceed 100m (90m in the cable duct and 10m in the Working Area). These UTP cables are specified up to 200 MHz. Impedance of cables = 100 Ohm +/-15% EIA = Electronic Industries Association TIA = Telecommunication Industries Association TSB = Technical Systems Bulletin
The Unitronic LAN UTP/S cable is a CAT.5e, 4x2x24 AWG twisted‑pair cable designed for structured cabling systems in offices, administration and R&D buildings where terminal density is high. It is recommended for horizontal (tertiary) area installations.
The cable is specified up to 200 MHz, has an impedance of 100 Ω ±15 %, and must not exceed a total length of 100 m (90 m in the cable duct and 10 m in the working area) according to ISO/IEC 11801 and EN 50173.
