This datasheet provides detailed information on the MIC5219 500mA-Peak Output LDO Regulator, including its high peak output current capability, very low dropout voltage, better than 1% output voltage accuracy, 10mV typical dropout at light loads, less than 500mV maximum dropout at full load, 500mA peak output rating, continuous output current limited only by package and layout, CMOS or TTL compatible signal to enable or shut down the MIC5219, power consumption drops to nearly zero when disabled, minimized dropout ground current to help prolong battery life, reverse battery protection, current limiting, overtemperature shutdown, and low noise performance with an ultra-low-noise option.
