Analog Devices ADG3243 Level Translator Bus Switch Datasheet

The ADG3243 is a 2.5 V or 3.3 V, 2-bit, 2-port digital switch with individual channel control. It is designed on a low voltage CMOS process, which provides low power dissipation yet gives high switching speed and very low on resistance. This allows the inputs to be connected to the outputs without additional propagation delay or generating additional noise.

About this manual

The ADG3243 is a low‑voltage CMOS 2‑bit, 2‑port digital switch that provides individual channel control. It operates from a 2.5 V or 3.3 V supply and offers bidirectional signal switching when ON, while blocking signals up to the supply voltage when OFF. The device features extremely low propagation delay, low on‑resistance, and a tiny 8‑lead SOT‑23 package.

Typical applications include voltage level translation (3.3 V↔2.5 V, 2.5 V↔1.8 V), bus isolation, hot‑swap and hot‑plug protection, and general bus switching in mixed‑voltage systems. The ADG3243’s fast switching speed and low capacitance make it suitable for high‑speed data paths up to 1.5 Gbps.
