This document describes the features and characteristics of the Series 800 Vertisockets™ vertical mounting with collet contacts produced by Aries. The Series 800 Vertisockets™ are vertical mounting components designed for LEDs, incandescent lamps, DIP switches, test points and similar devices. Aries offers a full line of Vertisockets with various mounting positions to give designers flexibility.
The product sheet lists material options, plating choices, current rating, temperature limits and precise mechanical dimensions. Custom designs and special materials can be supplied on request, and the document includes recommended PCB hole sizes and lead diameter ranges.
