About this manual

The ADN2815 provides continuous‑rate clock and data recovery for serial data streams from 10 Mb/s up to 1.25 Gb/s. It automatically locks to any data rate without an external reference clock, includes a loss‑of‑lock indicator, and offers a PC interface for optional features. The device operates from a single 3.3 V supply and consumes about 390 mW typical power.

Typical applications include SONET OC‑1/‑3/‑12, Fibre Channel, Gigabit Ethernet, HDTV, WDM transponders, regenerators, test equipment, and broadband cross‑connects. The IC is supplied in a compact 5 mm × 5 mm 32‑lead LFCSP package.
