This document describes the features and characteristics of IDT6167, including high speed, low power consumption, battery backup operation, and various packaging options.
The IDT6167 series is a 16,384‑bit (16K × 1) CMOS static RAM offered in standard‑power (SA) and low‑power (LA) versions. Both variants operate from a single 5 V supply and feature TTL‑compatible I/O, high‑speed access times, and optional battery‑backup data retention for the LA part.
The device is qualified to MIL‑STD‑883, Class B for military use and is available in 20‑pin CERDIP, Plastic DIP and SOJ packages. Detailed electrical characteristics, timing diagrams, and ordering information are provided for both military (‑55 °C to +125 °C) and commercial (0 °C to +70 °C) temperature ranges.
