About this manual

The BTS 5246-2L is a dual‑channel high‑side power switch in a PG‑DSO‑12‑9 package that integrates protective functions such as reverse‑battery, short‑circuit, overload, multi‑step current limitation, and thermal shutdown. The device uses an N‑channel vertical power MOSFET with a charge pump and offers CMOS‑compatible logic pins.

Key features include very low standby current, 3.3 V/5 V compatible logic pins, independent logic ground, and diagnostic signals (IntelliSense) for load‑current sensing, open‑load detection, and fault feedback. The switch is suitable for resistive, inductive, and capacitive loads, especially those with high inrush currents, and can replace electromechanical relays and fuses.
