About this manual

The TDA5251 F1 is a single‑chip FSK/ASK transceiver designed for half‑duplex low‑data‑rate communication in the 315 MHz band. It integrates a power amplifier, low‑noise amplifier, double‑balanced mixer, VCO/PLL synthesizer, crystal oscillator, data filter, slicer, peak detectors and a 2/3‑wire microcontroller interface, plus a power‑down mode for battery‑powered applications.

The device offers low supply current (9 mA receive, 13 mA transmit at 3 V), a supply voltage range of 2.1 V to 5.5 V, and operates from –40 °C to +85 °C. It provides ASK and FSK modulation/demodulation, sensitivity better than –109 dBm, and up to +13 dBm transmit power. The IC is supplied in a P‑TSSOP‑38‑1 package.
