A method for determining sulfonamide residues in chicken muscle using Agilent Bond Elut QuEChERS AOAC Kit and HPLC-FLD
The document presents an analytical method developed to determine nine specific sulfonamides in chicken muscle tissue. The procedure involves precolumn derivatization with fluorescamine followed by separation on an Agilent ZORBAX Eclipse Plus C18 column using HPLC-FLD detection.
Sample preparation utilizes the Agilent Bond Elut QuEChERS AOAC kit for extraction and cleanup, adhering to the AOAC Official method 2007.01. The study validates the method's recovery rates, limits of detection, and quantification across various fortification levels.
