About this manual

The TLV5638 is a dual 12‑bit voltage‑output digital‑to‑analog converter (DAC) that operates from a single 2.7 V to 5.5 V supply. It features an on‑chip programmable precision reference, a x2 gain rail‑to‑rail output buffer, and a flexible 3‑wire serial interface compatible with TMS320, SPI™, QSPI™ and Microwire™ ports.

The device is offered in 8‑pin SOIC, JG and FK packages for commercial, industrial and military temperature ranges. Typical performance includes <0.5 LSB differential nonlinearity, monotonic operation over temperature, 1 mA source and –1 mA sink capability, and programmable settling times from 1 µs (fast) to 3.5 µs (slow).
