The CY4611B is a flexible bridge solution that connects Cypress EZ‑USB FX2LP to a variety of storage devices, including 3.5" and 2.5" IDE hard drives, Compact Flash, micro drives, and ATAPI devices such as ZIP, CD‑ROM and DVD‑ROM. The design complies with the USB Mass Storage Class Bulk‑Only Transport subclass and works with Windows XP/2000/ME, MacOS 9 and X.
The document provides the full reference design package: schematic, PCB layout, BOM, firmware source code, driver files, operating instructions and manufacturing tools. It also describes firmware architecture, EEPROM configuration, build targets, and debugging procedures for the CY4611B board.
