The motherboard uses a UEFI BIOS that supports Windows installation on drives over 2 TB; set AHCI mode in the UEFI Setup Utility, choose the UEFI boot option, and then install Windows 7 64‑bit or Vista 64‑bit.
Drivers and utilities are provided on the Support CD that comes with the motherboard, and additional files can be downloaded from the ASRock website.
Both models support up to 16 GB of system memory.
