This document is about ZMD31XXX Evaluation Board. The board supports external bridge sensor element and allows power supply of the SSC evaluation board by communication board.
The ZMD31XXX Evaluation Kit provides a modular platform for evaluating ZMD sensor signal‑conditioner ICs. It offers plug‑and‑play connectivity, on‑board LEDs for power status, screw terminals for external bridge sensors, and optional ZIF sockets for easy IC interchange. The kit includes a communication board, bridge simulator, and a set of evaluation boards for different SSC‑IC models.
Four USB‑based evaluation boards are covered: ZMD31020, ZMD31030, ZMD31035, and ZMD31050. Each board details its power supply voltage, communication interfaces (I²C, SPI, LIN, ZACwire), jumper functions, and connector layout. It is powered by a regulated 5 VDC line controlled by the µC via a relay on the communication board.
