TSic™ is a leading-edge digital temperature sensor IC, combining outstanding accuracy with fast response and long-term stability. The device is very simple to use, fully tested and calibrated for accuracy on delivery – no further calibration is needed. TSic™ is available in different accuracy classes and provides an absolute analog voltage output (0 to +1V) or an 11bit digital output at the one-wire serial interface. TSic™ is specifically designed for high-performance, cost-effective temperature sensing in medical instruments, industrial process control, automobiles, building automation, white goods, office equipment and mobile measurement devices.
The TSic™ temperature sensor IC provides best‑in‑class accuracy (±0.1 °C) with fast response, long‑term stability and a simple, calibrated output. It can deliver an absolute analog voltage (0‑1 V) or a 1‑bit digital one‑wire signal, operates from low supply voltages and consumes only about 45 yA, making it ideal for portable, battery‑powered devices.
The device is offered in several accuracy classes and package types (TO‑92, SOP‑8, COF, bare die) and is suited for medical instruments, industrial process control, automotive climate control, building automation, white‑goods and consumer electronics. ZMD also provides a LABkit for evaluation, which can drive up to four TSic devices in parallel, and detailed ordering codes for each variant.
