The transducer can measure the distance, vibration, and rotation of metallic conducting objects contactlessly and without being affected by non-metallic media in the measurement room. The WayCon TX series is a contactless eddy current distance and displacement transducer for industrial measurement of static or rotating metallic objects. It offers single‑ or dual‑channel configurations, high‑frequency operation (35 kHz) and a range of output options including voltage, current and CAN bus.
Technical data include measurement ranges from 0.5 mm to 10 mm, linearity of ±0.25 % of full scale, operating temperature from –35 °C to +185 °C, supply voltage 9‑36 VDC, IP67 probe protection, stainless‑steel probe body with PEEK head, PTFE‑Koax cable up to 6 m, and high‑speed output rates up to 120 kHz.
