16-Bit Single-Chip Microcontroller
The C167CS‑4R and C167CS‑L are high‑performance 16‑bit single‑chip microcontrollers from Infineon's C166 family. They feature a 4‑stage pipeline CPU with instruction cycle times of 80 ns, 60 ns or 50 ns at 25 MHz, 33 MHz and 40 MHz respectively, and support up to 20 MIPS. On‑chip resources include 3 KB internal RAM, 8 KB extension RAM, 32 KB program mask ROM, a 24‑channel 10‑bit A/D converter, two CAN interfaces, multiple timer and PWM units, and up to 111 general‑purpose I/O lines.
The devices are supplied in a 144‑pin MQFP package and support external address spaces up to 16 MB. The datasheet also lists ordering codes, pin assignments, package outlines, and revision history, providing all necessary information for designers and developers.
