Analog Devices AD8041 Datasheet

AD8041 is a 160MHz switch gain amplifier from Analog Devices. Its features include a wide working voltage range (+3V, +5V, -5V), a low input voltage range (input voltage can be as low as 200mV), a large output swing (output can reach the supply voltage), low power consumption (26mW), fast switching speed (160MHz), short settling time (30ns), and strong load driving capability (can drive 50mA current).

About this manual

The AD8041 is a low‑power voltage‑feedback, high‑speed amplifier designed for single‑supply operation at +3 V, +5 V or +12 V. It provides rail‑to‑rail output swing, fast settling (30 ns to 0.1 %) and a high slew rate of 160 V/µs, making it suitable for video, camera and high‑speed A/D buffering applications.

The device is available in 8‑lead PDIP (N‑8) and SOIC (R‑8) packages and operates over an industrial temperature range of –40 °C to +85 °C. An on‑chip disable pin reduces quiescent current to 1.5 mA for power‑saving modes. Ordering codes and package options are listed in the ordering guide.
