About this manual

The RA30H0608M is a 30‑watt RF MOSFET amplifier module designed for 12.5‑V mobile radios operating in the 66‑88 MHz band. It uses enhancement‑mode MOSFET transistors and provides up to 45 W output power when the gate voltage is around 4‑5 V. The module is RoHS compliant and can be used for both non‑linear FM and linear AM modulation.

The device is built on an alumina substrate with a copper flange, protected by a plastic cap. Proper ESD handling, heat‑sink flatness (<50 µm) and torque (4‑6 kgf‑cm) are required for reliable operation. Recommended operating temperature is –30 °C to +110 °C, with a maximum case temperature of 90 °C for long‑term use.
