TMS27C512 is a 65536 by 8-bit (524288-bit) ultraviolet (UV) light erasable electrically programmable read-only memory (EPROM). The TMS27PC512 is a 65536 by 8-bit (524288-bit) one-time programmable (OTP) electrically programmable read-only memory (PROM).
This document describes the TMS27C512 series of 65536 by 8-bit ultraviolet erasable electrically programmable read-only memories (EPROMs) and the TMS27PC512 series of one-time programmable (OTP) PROMs. Both devices utilize power-saving CMOS technology for high-speed operation and simple interfacing with MOS and bipolar circuits. They are pin-compatible with existing 512K MOS ROMs and PROMs.
