This manual introduces the basic operation of the GEN10 HD/SD Sync Generator, including connection, use and maintenance
The AJA GEN10 is a cost-effective and flexible SD/HD/AES sync generator featuring seven outputs. These include two groups of independently controlled SD/HD sync outputs and one AES-11 output. All outputs are synchronized to an accurate master time base.
Configuration is managed via an 8-switch DIP block accessible through a cut-out in the bottom of the unit. Users can select between HD tri-level sync (720p or 1080i/p) and SD sync (Color Black or Color Bars). The AES-11 output can be switched between silence and tone. Power requirements are 5-18VDC.
