A proper CF Card supplied by the user is required, and it must be inserted into one of the available slots in the top of the Mini.
Recordings that are in progress will not be written properly to the media, and failure to properly mount or dismount CF media can result in unrecoverable data loss.
Batteries must provide between 12 and 18 volts; sources below 12 volts will not provide sufficient power, while those exceeding 18 volts are in excess.
