PowerPlug™ Luminaire Disconnect - Model 102 is a current rated device. Use in applications involving amperage beyond its rating can be dangerous and cause electrical fires. The product is easy to install, and the power should be turned off before removing or installing the disconnect. Wiring must comply with electrical codes. The product is for one-time use only, and wires should not be removed or replaced. Safety precautions should be taken when installing electrical wiring.
