This document describes a product called 500 Watt Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS). The product is available in the DO-213AB package and provides the highest level of Peak Pulse Power (PPP) in the industry. It offers protection from switching transients, induced RF, secondary lightning, as well as ESD or EFT. The product is compliant with IEC61000-4-2 and IEC61000-4-4 standards. It is available in both unidirectional and bidirectional configurations, with the bidirectional option having a C or CA suffix. The MELF package design prevents lead damage and reduces inductive parasitics for minimal transient voltage overshoots.
