The document describes the features and characteristics of LB T673, LT T673 Hyper TOPLED® Hyper-Bright LED. This LED has an extremely wide viewing angle, making it ideal for backlighting and coupling in light guides. It is available in blue and true green wavelengths. The LED is suitable for various surface mount technologies and can be connected through infrared reflow soldering and wave soldering. It is applicable in multiple applications such as traffic signal lights, outdoor information displays, optical indicators, LCD backlighting, automotive interior instrument lights, marker lights, signal and symbol lights, and scanners.
The OSRAM LB T673 and LT T673 Hyper‑TOPLEDs are lead‑free, RoHS‑compliant LEDs with a wide viewing angle, suitable for backlighting, automotive interior lighting, signage and other applications. They are available in blue (471 nm) and true‑green (532 nm) wavelengths and are packaged in a white P‑LCC‑2 package with clear resin.
Key features include an optical efficiency of 2 Im/W (blue) and 8 Im/W (green), a Lambertian viewing angle of 120°, and compatibility with all standard SMT assembly and soldering processes, including IR reflow and TTW soldering. The devices are rated for operation from –40 °C to +100 °C and meet ESD standards up to 2 kV. This manual is written in German.
