This document is a specification for SPC Multicomp ESD workstation kit electronic components. The material is static dissipative with a thickness of 2mm and a non-shining surface. Suitable for anti-static workstations. Can be tested using the ETS 406C static decay meter and 3M Model 701 test kit.
The kit includes a 600 × 1200 mm ESD matting, a rigid Foamex ESD caution sign in German, a Euro earth bonding plug, a hypo‑allergenic fabric wrist strap, coiled and straight banana‑plug earth leads, and an instruction leaflet. The matting features a reflection‑breaking surface, high friction to prevent sliding, heat and oil resistance, and good scratch resistance.
Material specifications list a static‑dissipative, 2 mm thick, non‑shining surface with a top‑layer resistance of about 108 Ω and a bottom‑layer resistance of about 10 Ω. Hardness is 75 + 5 Shore A, abrasion resistance is under 200 mm, and dimensional stability is under 0.4 % at 80 °C. Electrical resistance of the wrist‑band is below 10 Ω on all sides, and the earth leads have a resistivity of 1 MΩ ± 10 %.
