About this manual

The PCF2119X is a single‑chip LCD controller and driver that supports a 2‑line display of up to 16 characters plus 160 icons, or a 1‑line display of up to 32 characters plus 160 icons. It includes on‑chip LCD bias and voltage generators, an internal oscillator, and both 4/8‑bit parallel and 2‑wire I²C interfaces, reducing external component count and power consumption.

The datasheet provides detailed functional descriptions, pad assignments, timing characteristics, and ordering information for the various package types (AU, DU, FU, RU, SU, VU). It also lists electrical specifications such as supply voltage ranges, current consumption, and multiplex rates.
