About this manual

The ITS436L2 PROFET is a single‑channel N‑channel vertical power MOSFET designed for industrial high‑side switching. It features a low standby current, CMOS‑compatible input, fast demagnetization of inductive loads, and logic‑ground independence. The device replaces electromechanical relays, fuses and discrete circuits for resistive, inductive and capacitive loads, especially those with high inrush currents such as lamps.

Electrical characteristics include an on‑state resistance of 38 mΩ, nominal load current of 9.8 A, operating voltage range of 4.75‑41 V, and a maximum power dissipation of 75 W. Integrated protection functions cover short‑circuit, overload, current‑limit, thermal shutdown, over‑voltage, reverse‑battery, loss‑of‑ground and ESD protection, with diagnostic feedback via an open‑drain status pin.
