About this manual

The AD8180 and AD8182 are high‑speed video multiplexers designed for pixel‑switching, LCD/Plasma displays and video routers. They offer fully buffered inputs and outputs, 10 ns channel switching, >750 MHz small‑signal bandwidth, low power (3.8 mA or 6.8 mA per active channel) and excellent crosstalk and isolation performance.

The devices operate from a +5 V supply (range +4 V to +6 V) and are available in 8‑lead DIP, 14‑lead DIP and SOIC packages. The datasheet includes detailed specifications, functional block diagrams, theory of operation, layout guidelines, ordering information and evaluation‑board details.
