This document introduces the features and instructions for using TaKaRa LA Taq® with GC Buffer. The product is a heat-resistant DNA polymerase with 3′→5′ Exonuclease activity, which is used for PCR amplification of DNA. The product has higher efficiency in amplifying DNA fragments larger than 10 kbp compared to other similar products, especially for templates with complex secondary structures. PCR products obtained using this product can be directly cloned into T-Vector.
About this manual
TaKaRa LA Taq is a high‑fidelity DNA polymerase with 3′→5′ exonuclease (proofreading) activity. The kit includes the enzyme and two GC‑rich buffers designed to improve amplification of difficult templates.
The note provides product contents, recommended PCR conditions, example protocols for human genomic DNA, and practical precautions such as storage at –20 °C and buffer selection for GC‑rich targets. This manual is written in Japanese.
