The LTC1698 is a precision secondary-side forward converter controller that synchronously drives external N-channel MOSFETs. It is designed for use with the LT3781 primary-side synchronous forward converter controller to create a completely isolated power supply. The LT3781 synchronizes the LTC1698 through a small pulse transformer and the LTC1698 drives a feedback optocoupler to close the feedback loop. Output accuracy of ±0.8% and high efficiency over a wide range of load currents are obtained. The LTC1698 provides accurate secondary-side current limit using an external current sense resistor. The input voltage at the MARGIN pin provides ±5% output voltage adjustment. A power good flag and overvoltage input are provided to ensure proper power supply conditions. An auxiliary 3.3V logic supply is included that supplies up to 10mA of output current.

HCC4011B,HCF4011B are dual-input, HCC4012B is four-input, and HCF4012B is three-input HCC/HCF4011B, HCF4012B and HCF4023B NAND gate circuits, whose inputs and outputs are all buffered.

The stereo ADC can convert audio signals from either internal or external microphones that can be configured for single-ended or differential signal inputs. Line inputs can be configured as stereo, differential, or mono and fed through one channel of the microphone path. The analog inputs selected can be gain ranged or mixed with other input sources prior to conversion to digital. The ADC path also features programmable digital highpass filters to remove DC offset voltages and wind noise. The MAX9856 supports all common sample rates from 8kHz to 48kHz in both master and slave mode. The serial digital audio interfaces support a variety of formats including I2S, left-justified, and PCM modes. The MAX9856 has a low-power design and is suitable for a variety of applications including MP3 players, portable music players, digital audio players, and portable computers.

The LT1461 is a family of low dropout micropower bandgap references that combine very high accuracy and low drift with low supply current and high output drive. These series references use advanced curvature compensation techniques to obtain low temperature coefficient and trimmed precision thin-film resistors to achieve high output accuracy. The LT1461 family draws only 35µA of supply current, making them ideal for low power and portable applications, however their high 50mA output drive makes them suitable for higher power requirements, such as precision regulators. In low power applications, a dropout voltage of less than 300mV ensures maximum battery life while maintaining full reference performance. Line regulation is nearly immeasur- able, while the exceedingly good load and thermal regulation will not add significantly to system error budgets. The shutdown feature can be used to switch full load currents and can be used for system power down. Thermal shutdown protects the part from overload conditions.

The differential analog input provides excellent common mode rejection, while the differential universal clock inputs minimize jitter. The 48-pin TSSOP package is ideal for space-constrained applications. The CLC5957 operates from a single +5V power supply and is guaranteed to operate over the industrial temperature range of -40˚C to +85˚C. National Semiconductor tests each part to verify compliance with the guaranteed specifications.

The MAX17000 pulse-width modulation (PWM) controller provides a complete power solution for notebook DDR, DDR2, and DDR3 memory. It comprises a step-down controller, a source-sink LDO regulator, and a reference buffer to generate the required VDDQ, VTT, and VTTR rails. The VDDQ rail is supplied by a step-down converter using Maxim’s proprietary Quick-PWM™ controller. The high-efficiency, constant-on-time PWM controller handles wide input/output voltage ratios (low duty-cycle applications) with ease and provides 100ns response to load transients while maintaining a relatively constant switching frequency. The Quick-PWM architecture circumvents the poor load-transient timing problems of fixed-frequency current-mode PWMs while also avoiding the problems caused by widely varying switching frequencies in conventional constant-on-time and constant-off-time PWM schemes. The controller senses the current to achieve an accurate valley current-limit protection. It is also built in with overvoltage, undervoltage, and thermal protections. The MAX17000 can be set to run in three different modes: power-efficient SKIP mode, low-noise forced-PWM mode, and standby mode to support memory in notebook computer standby operation. The switching frequency is programmable from 200kHz to 600kHz to allow small components and high efficiency. The VDDQ output voltage can be set to a preset 1.8V or 1.5V, or be adjusted from 1.0V to 2.5V by an external resistor-divider.

The LMS1487 is a low power differential bus/line transceiver designed for high speed bidirectional data communication on multipoint bus transmission lines. It meets ANSI Standards TIA/EIA RS422-B, TIA/EIA RS485-A and ITU recommendation and V.11 and X.27. The LMS1487 combines a TRI-STATE™ differential line driver and differential input receiver, both of which operate from a single 5.0V power supply. The driver and receiver have an active high and active low, respectively, that can be externally connected to function as a direction control. The driver and receiver differential inputs are internally connected to form differential input/output (I/O) bus ports that are designed to offer minimum loading to bus whenever the driver is disabled or when VCC = 0V. These ports feature wide positive and negative common mode voltage ranges, making the device suitable for multipoint applications in noisy environments. The LMS1487 is available in a 8-Pin SOIC and 8-pin DIP packages. It is a drop-in socket replacement to Maxim’s MAX1487.
