The ADSP-BF561 EZ-KIT Lite™ provides developers with a cost-effective method for initial evaluation of the ADSP-BF561 Blackfin® Processor for audio and video applications via a USB-based PC-hosted tool set.
The EZ‑KIT Lite evaluation kit includes an ADSP‑BF561 Blackfin processor board, VisualDSP++ development tools, and a USB‑based debugger, enabling rapid prototyping of audio and video applications. Key hardware features are a 64 MB SDRAM, 8 MB flash, AD1836 audio codec, ADV7183A video decoder and ADV7179 video encoder, plus RS‑232 UART and JTAG interfaces.
The kit is supported by Analog Devices' CROSSCORE development tools and can be expanded with EZ‑Extender daughter boards for additional peripherals. Ordering information, support contacts, and system requirements (Pentium 166 MHz PC, 32 MB RAM, Windows 98/2000/XP) are provided in the document.
