AD694 is a 4-20mA current sensor from Analog Devices. This sensor is an integrated circuit design that can accept high-level signal inputs and convert them to standard 4-20mA current loop outputs to control valves, actuators and other devices commonly used in process control. The input signal is buffered by an input amplifier that can be used to scale the input signal or buffer the output from a current mode DAC. Pre-calibrated input ranges of 0 V to 2 V and 0 V to 10 V are selected by simple pin strapping; other ranges can be programmed with external resistors. The output stage compliance extends to within 2 V of VS and its special design allows the output voltage to extend below common in dual supply operation. An alarm warns of an open 4-20 mA current loop.

The TPS4030x is a family of cost-optimized synchronous buck controllers that operate from 3-V to 20-V input. The controller implements a voltage-mode control architecture with input-voltage feed-forward compensation that responds instantly to input voltage change. The switching frequency is fixed at 300 KHz, 600 KHz or 1.2 MHz. Frequency Spread Spectrum feature adds dither to the switching frequency, significantly reducing the peak EMI noise and making it much easier to comply with EMI standards. The TPS4030x has good EMI performance and can be used in various applications such as POL modules, printers, digital TVs and telecommunications.

The DS90LV018A is a 3V LVDS single CMOS differential line receiver designed for applications requiring ultra low power dissipation, low noise and high data rates. The device is designed to support data rates in excess of 400 Mbps (200 MHz) utilizing Low Voltage Differential Signaling (LVDS) technology. The DS90LV018A accepts low voltage (350 mV typical) differential input signals and translates them to 3V CMOS output levels. The receiver also supports open, shorted and terminated (100Ω) input fail-safe. The receiver output will be HIGH for all fail-safe conditions. The DS90LV018A has a flow-through design for easy PCB layout. The DS90LV018A and companion LVDS line driver provide a new alternative to high power PECL/ECL devices for high speed point-to-point interface applications.

The LP2997 DDR-II Termination Regulator is a digital regulator produced by National Semiconductor Corporation. The MAX710/MAX711 is a single-chip integrated step-up DC-DC converter with a linear regulator that provides step-up/down voltage conversion. They are optimized for battery applications where the input varies above and below the regulated output voltage. They have an input range from +1.8V to +11V. Typical efficiency when boosting battery inputs is 85%. The MAX710/MAX711 can be configured for minimum noise or optimum efficiency. Shutdown control turns off the part completely, disconnecting the input from the output (ISHDN = 0.2µA). Standby control turns off only the step-up converter and leaves the low-power linear regulator active (IQ = 7µA). The MAX710 has a preset 3.3V or 5V output voltage. The MAX711 has an adjustable output that can be set from +2.7V to +5.5V with two resistors. Both devices come in 16-pin narrow SO packages.

The LTC1594L/LTC1598L are 3V micropower, 12-bit sampling A/D converters that feature 4- and 8-channel multiplexers, respectively.
