This application note explains how to replace the external EEPROM with the emulated-EEPROM in STR91xF devices using the on-chip Flash memory, which saves components and silicon area.

This application note describes how to use the STM32F101xx and STM32F103xx direct memory access (DMA) controller.

This document describes how to use the DMA controller of STM32F101xx and STM32F103xx, including the main features of DMA and performance analysis. It also provides programming examples of using the DMA controller, including obtaining ADC continuous sampling data using SPI transmission and achieving fast data transfer with GPIO using DMA.

This document highlights the differences between the ST10F269Zx and ST10F272Z2 devices, which are members of the STMicroelectronics ST10 family of 16-bit single-chip CMOS microcontrollers. It describes the modified and new functionalities and registers of the ST10F272Z2, and provides advice on handling the differences that may impact the replacement of the ST10F269Zx with the ST10F272Z2. It is intended for hardware or software designers adapting existing applications based on the ST10F269Zx to the ST10F272Z2.

This application note outlines the necessary steps to ensure the STR91xFA is configured for optimum performance for those applications which require the STR91xFA to operate at full speed and deliver the highest performance from the CPU core and highest bandwidth of data movement.

This document presents the ST10F276Z5’s modified functionalities and the new ones then it describes the modified registers and the new registers. For each part, the differences with the ST10F269Zx that may have an impact when replacing the ST10F269Zx by the ST10F276Z5 are stressed and some advice is given on the way they can be handled.

This application note provides information on using ST72F324B, ST72324B (ROM) microcontroller devices in applications originally designed for the ST72F324 and ST72324 (ROM) series

This application note introduces a low cost sinusoidal control method for BLDC motors with Hall sensors using ST7FMC. This method can reduce the motor's noise and power consumption, and improve the motor's efficiency.

This application note describes an induction cooking design based on the ST7FLITE09Y0, which can be used to evaluate ST's components or quickly start your own induction cooking development project. The design provides an opportunity to understand how an induction cooker works and to make an in-depth examination of the various modules and parts of this type of cooking application, such as the driving topology, how the resonant tank works, how the pot gets hot and how to safely remove it from the cooking element. The design is entirely controlled by a single ST7FLITE09Y0 microcontroller, which provides the PWM driving signals, communicates information to the user interface, and drives the fan and relay control to the plate feedback.

How to size the resonant tank of the Induction Cooking Evaluation Board

This application note describes a simple technique for implementing a non-inverting buck- boost converter which requires only one inductor. This converter is basically the result of cascading a Buck converter with a Boost converter. This converter can be controlled by two PWM signals from the microcontroller and can provide a 4.2V output from a 5V supply.
