This application note describes how to use the mains to calibrate the ST7ULTRALITE MCU's RC oscillator.

This document describes how to implement a PID control with the ST10F276 16-bit microcontroller for the control of a multiaxial planar robot. It provides guidelines for the complete development of a control system, able to fulfill all the requirements needed to drive an industrial manipulator. The document starts with an introduction to the robotic manipulators, focusing on their working space, forward kinematics, and the problem of inverse kinematics. It then briefly describes the ST10F276 16-bit microcontroller and its peripherals, as well as the control board, named Starter Development Kit - ST10F276, and its three dedicated connectors for motion control. The document also provides an overview of the hardware and mechanical equipment of a wafer handler, including the encoder conditioning and motor driver circuits. The implementation of PID control, inverse kinematics, trajectory planning, teach and repeat technique, and homing procedure are also explained.

This document describes the differences between the ST10F276 and ST10F168, and provides guidance for hardware or software designers adapting existing applications based on the ST10F168 to the ST10F276.

This document is an application note on the conversion between the uPSD3200 and uPSD3300 series. It describes the differences between the two series and provides methods for migrating designs. Additionally, the document identifies differences in SFRs and interrupt vectors that may impact firmware. The document also provides a summary of the new functions in the uPSD3300 series.

This document introduces the ST10F2xx family's 16-bit multiply and accumulate unit (MAC) and the method of using the ST10 DSP library for digital signal processing and filtering. It provides a detailed description of the theory and practical implementation of four different filters, including low-pass filter, high-pass filter, passband filter, and cut-band filter.

This application note provides an overview of the STR73x power management features and gives some guidelines for using the low power modes to minimize the power consumption of the microcontroller. Example software is provided with this application note for implementing and showing the various low power modes.

This document describes the features of the SystemMemory boot mode developed for STR73x Flash microcontrollers to provide all the basic functionality to support programming of the embedded Flash. It will describe its general features, and then move on to specific features of the UART boot mode.

This document describes the implementation of a current regulator for BLDC motor control. It provides an overview of various approaches for obtaining current feedback and analyzes the limitations of each approach. The document also presents a simple, linear, and cost-effective method of implementing the inner current loop by sampling the DC link current at the mid-point of PWM 'on time' with ST7FMC. Experimental results are also discussed.
