This application note explains the mechanism of the interrupt management hardware in the STR91x microcontroller family, and also provides application developers with software recommendations for interrupt handling.

This application note describes an EEPROM emulation technique using the on-chip Flash memory in the STM32F10x devices. It also discusses the differences between external EEPROM and embedded Flash memory.

This document provides advice and guidance on designing applications based on devices of the ST10F27xZx family, including the ST10F276Z5, ST10F273Z4, ST10F272Z2, and ST10F271Z1. It covers topics such as using an external resonator, startup configuration, filtering, decoupling, reducing ADC conversion errors, memory interface, and interfacing with the L4969 CAN interface.

This application note discusses the RTC calibration basics and explains how RTC calibration can be used to improve timekeeping accuracy

This document introduces the STM32 microcontroller system memory boot mode. It describes that the main task of the bootloader stored in the internal boot ROM memory is to download the application program to the internal Flash memory through one of the available serial peripherals (USART, CAN, USB, etc.). A communication protocol is defined for each serial interface, with a compatible command set and sequences.

This application note provides technical details on the software and tools associated with implementing a serial numbering technique. It also provides examples and hints for serial number encoding techniques that can be applied to any ST7 microcontrollers equipped with non-volatile memory.

This application note describes a technique for implementing an ADC for measuring both positive and negative input voltages while operating from a single (positive) supply.

This application note describes the CAN interrupt drivers of the ST10F27x and provides programming examples that can be used to define interrupt schemes and write interrupt drivers.

This application note is intended for system designers who require a software and hardware implementation overview of the low-power modes of the STM32F101xx, STM32F102xx and STM32F103xx products. It describes how to use the STM32F10xxx product family and details the clock systems, register settings and low-power management in order to optimize the use of STM32F10xxx in applications where low power is key.

This application note provides the user with a low cost oscillator solution with discrete components and based on a resonator or quartz that can be used for STR71x MCU.

This application note provides information on how to use and take full advantage of the STR91xFA DMA controller. It describes the most typical and useful control scenarios for each peripheral DMA transfer. Software is available for download from www.st.com.

This application note, with UART as an example, provides general guidelines for creating an IAP application using two different methods: the first one is based on the Ymodem protocol and the second one is based on a customized UART protocol using the free Flash Loader utility provided by ST.
