Burr‑Brown MPY634 Analog Multiplier Datasheet

Burr‑Brown MPY634 Analog Multiplier Datasheet

Datasheet 8 pages · 123 KB · EN

The MPY634 is a wide‑bandwidth, high‑accuracy four‑quadrant analog multiplier. Its laser‑trimmed characteristics give low error and allow operation as a multiplier, squarer, divider, square‑rooter, and other functions with minimal external parts. The internal output amplifier simplifies designs for IF, RF, and video‑frequency signal processing.

Typical applications include precision analog signal processing, modulation/demodulation, voltage‑controlled amplifiers, video signal processing, and voltage‑controlled filters and oscillators. The device can be configured for various functions using its differential X, Y, and Z inputs and offers scale‑factor adjustment via an external resistor on the SF pin.
