Allegro A3959 DMOS Full-Bridge PWM Motor Driver Datasheet
The Allegro A3959 is a DMOS full-bridge PWM motor driver designed for pulse-width modulated current control of DC motors. It supports output currents up to +3 A and operating voltages up to 50 V. The device features internal fixed off-time PWM current-control timing circuitry that can be adjusted to operate in slow, fast, and mixed current-decay modes. It includes internal synchronous rectification control to reduce power dissipation and offers protection features such as thermal shutdown with hysteresis, undervoltage monitoring, and crossover-current protection. The component is available in three power packages: 24-pin plastic DIP, 24-lead plastic SOIC, and 28-lead plastic TSSOP.
