This file is the user guide of T-REx™ system
The T-REx System is a tetracycline-regulated mammalian expression system designed for research use. It utilizes regulatory elements from the E. coli Tn10-encoded tetracycline resistance operon to control gene expression. The system consists of an inducible expression plasmid and a regulatory plasmid, pcDNA6/TR, which encodes the Tet repressor under the control of the human CMV promoter.
| Inducible Expression Vector | pcDNA4/TO or pcDNA4/TO/myc-His |
|---|---|
| Regulatory Vector | pcDNA6/TR |
| Inducing Agent | Tetracycline |
| Selection Agent | Blasticidin or Zeocin |
| Storage Temperature (Core System) | -20C |
The T-REx System is a tetracycline-regulated mammalian expression system that uses regulatory elements from the E. coli Tn10-encoded tetracycline resistance operon.
Expression is induced in the presence of tetracycline, which binds to the Tet repressor and derepresses the promoter controlling expression of the gene of interest.
