The Philips PCF2119X is a low-power CMOS integrated circuit designed to drive dot matrix LCD displays with 2 lines of 16 characters or 1 line of 32 characters. It features an extended instruction set, on-chip character generator ROM (CGROM) and RAM (CGRAM), and supports both parallel and I²C-bus interfaces.
