This document introduces a low-power Sub-1-GHz fractional-N UHF device family for automotive applications. The product features support for automatic clear channel assessment, extended temperature range, low current consumption, fast startup time, programmable output power, and more.
The Texas Instruments CC11x1-Q1 device family is designed for very low-power wireless applications in the Industrial, Scientific, and Medical (ISM) and Short Range Device (SRD) frequency bands. The family includes UHF transceivers, receivers, and transmitters with qualification in accordance with AEC-Q100 Grade 1 and an extended temperature range up to 125°C.
The devices integrate a highly configurable baseband modem supporting various modulation formats such as 2-FSK, GFSK, MSK, OOK, and ASK. Key features include programmable output power up to +10 dBm, a data rate from 1.2 kBaud to 250 kBaud, and support for frequency bands ranging from 310 MHz to 928 MHz. The family offers extensive hardware support for packet handling, burst transmissions, clear channel assessment, and link quality indication via an SPI interface.
