About this manual

The BU9910KV is a status display LCD driver designed for PCs featuring an I2C Bus interface. It allows control of various lighting modes through the I2C Bus while also providing 20 direct drive inputs to simplify system configuration by driving elements without I2C control.

The device supports driving up to 44 LCD cells with a 1/3 bias and 1/4 duty cycle. It offers four frame frequency options (256Hz, 128Hz, 64Hz, 32Hz) at an oscillator frequency of 32.768kHz. Key features include blink operation for each cell, guaranteed minimum LCD drive time for direct inputs, and dedicated test terminals (LCDT0, LCDT1).
