About this manual

The SN54F244 and SN74F244 are octal buffers and line drivers designed specifically to improve the performance and density of 3-state memory address drivers, clock drivers, and bus-oriented receivers and transmitters. These devices feature separate output enable (OE) inputs for each buffer, allowing data to pass from A inputs to Y outputs when OE is low, while outputs enter a high-impedance state when OE is high.
