The KS0065B is an LCD driver LSI fabricated by low power CMOS technology. It consists of two parts, each containing bidirectional shift registers and data latches to drive up to 40 channels. The device can function as a common or segment driver for dot matrix displays.

The FCS signal changes the mode selection, allowing the user to select the function that uses Part 1 as a segment driver and Part 2 as a common driver simultaneously.
