This document describes the problems and solutions of printheads, as well as the features and characteristics of the products.
The manual provides a troubleshooting guide for thermal printheads, describing typical problems such as blank lines, stripes, unclear printing, and darkness changes. For each issue it lists possible causes and practical solutions, including handling tips, cleaning procedures, and adjustments to platen load and power settings.
An appendix contains legal notices, export‑control information, and general usage warnings, emphasizing that the products are silicon‑based, not antiradiation designed, and should be used with ordinary electronic equipment unless higher reliability is required.
| Material | Silicon |
|---|---|
| Radiation Design | None (not antiradiation) |
They are caused by damaged heating elements, electric load, abnormal wear, corrosion from active ions, electrolysis, wrong platen position, or insufficient platen load.
Use recommended cleaning materials, avoid printing media containing active ions, and keep foreign objects away from the printhead.
Detect the temperature and control the printhead with a thermistor.
