The MLX90808 is an integrated absolute pressure sensor realised in CMOS technology. It provides uniform overall sensing characteristics, has a linear output with an adjustable slope and offset, and can operate in a temperature range of -40°C to 150°C
The MLX90808 absolute pressure sensor integrates the sensing element and signal‑conditioning circuitry on a single CMOS die. It provides a ratiometric, rail‑to‑rail output that is proportional to applied pressure and includes on‑chip temperature compensation and diagnostic functions for broken wires or sensor failure.
Programming and calibration are performed through the three‑pin connector (Vdd, GND, OUT) using the PTC protocol, allowing offset, gain, and span adjustments without additional pins. The device is protected against short‑circuits and offers configurable clamping levels for robust operation in automotive, industrial, and barometric applications.

Programming and calibration are performed through the three‑pin connector (Vdd, GND, OUT) using the PTC protocol, requiring only the supply, ground and output pins.
The output is protected against short‑circuits at both battery terminals and can tolerate voltages from –0.5 V to 16 V.
