MLX16201 is a multiple purpose intelligent HV automotive relay driver from Melexis. This product features 8K*8 user ROM, 256*8 RAM and 128*16 EEPROM, 8-bit A/D converter, 11 different user interrupt sources, 5ms/10ms window watchdog, 20.8kHz, 7-bit +1 PWM output, on-chip temperature sensor.
The MLX16201 is an intelligent high‑voltage automotive relay driver ASIC that integrates a 16‑bit RX16000 microcontroller, analog and digital functions, and multiple interrupt sources to simplify automotive designs. It supports load‑dump protection up to 80 V and includes on‑chip memory, timers, watchdog, PWM, ADC, temperature sensor, and relay driver outputs.
Development resources include an RX16000 CPU‑simulator, assembler, linker, HEX generator, COSMIC C‑compiler, Melexis emulator (ROM and in‑circuit), emulator board, demo application board, and an OTP programmer for the MLX10108 interface. The device is available in a small SO‑20 package and is currently in production.
